Principle
1 Adopting soft fiber bundle as filter media
It adopts soft fiber bundle as filter media. whose monofilament diameter can reach dozens or ever several micrometers, comparing with minimeter-level quartz sand. So, the media has advantages of large specific surface area and high surface free energy,which increases contacting opportunity of particles in water and the media and improves adsorption capacity, Furthermore, it enhances filtering efficiency and pollutant cut-off capacity greatly(d50:80000m2/m3,comparing with d1000 of quartz sand:6000 m2/m3).
2 Continuously variable pore filter bed
When the filtering tank/basin operates, the filter media forms continuously variable pore filtering bed under hydraulic pressure. The density of the filtering bed reduces along current direction, which enhances capacity of pollutant interception and provides better effluent quality.
3 Adjustable density, compressed filtration and loosened washing
With fittings, the fiber bundle filter media is fixed between the upper and lower filtering plates which is set in the filtering tank/basin. The lower filtering plate is fixed, but the upper one can be adjusted vertically. When the upper filtering plate is adjusted downwards, it increases density of the filtering bed to improve effluent quality. And when it is adjusted upwards, it reduces density of the filtering bed to increase effluent quantity. When the fiber bundle filtering tank/basin operates, fiber bundle filter media is compressed to some density to realize high precision filtration. When the fiber bundle filtering tank is backwashed, fiber bundle is loosened by backwashing water and air to realize thoroughly cleaning.
